Chapter 1 - Sloka 33

Yesham arthe kankshitam nah rajyam bhogah sukhani cha I

ta ime avasthitah yuddhe pranam tyaktva dhanani cha II 

sloka 33

येषां अर्थे काङ्क्षितं नः राज्यं भोगः सुखानि च ।

त इमे अवस्थिता युद्धे प्रणाम त्यक्त्वा धनानि च ।।

for whose sake we seek in kingdom, enjoyment and pleasures, they stand here in battle, staking life and property. 

Chapter 1 - Sloka 34

Acharyah pitarah putrah tathaiva cha pitamaah I

matulah svashurah pautrah  shayalah sambandhinah tatha II sloka 34

आचार्यः पितरः पुत्रः तथैव च पितामह ।

मातुलः श्वशुराः  पौत्राः श्यालाः संबन्धिनः तथा ।। 

Teachers, fathers, sons, as well as grandfathers, maternal uncles, fathers-in-law, grandsons, brothers-in-law and other relatives.
