1 Gita Sloka every day - Chapter 3 -Karma Yoga - Sloka 22
Kurukshetra
Na me partha asti kartavyam trishu lokeshu kimchan I
Na anavaptam avaptavyam  varta evacha karmani II sloka 22
न मे पार्थ अस्ति कर्तव्यं त्रिषु लोकेषु किंचन ।
न अन्वाप्तं अवाप्तव्यं वर्त एवच कर्मणि ।। श्लोक २२

There is nothing in this three worlds, O Partha that has not been done by me, nor anything unattained that might be attained; still I engage in action.

Iswara or Saguna Brahman  is immanent in nature. Because of his proximity there are orderliness and precision in all the happenings in the cosmos. These happenings are however,  all impersonal. Incessant activities are evident even in His incarnations as Rama, Krishna and others. Sri Krishna had nothing to gain or lose in the Mahabharata warfare. Still the part He played in it was far more than all the characters put together. and why did he do so?. The answer comes in the next sloka.
