1 Gita Sloka every day - Chapter 3 -Karma Yoga - Sloka 25
Krishna & Chaitanya Mahaprabhu 

Saktah karmany avidvamsah yatha kurvanti bharata I
Kuryat vidvan tatha asaktah chikirshurah loka samgraham II sloka 25
सक्तः कर्मण्य अविद्वांसः  यथा कुर्वन्ति भारत । 
कुर्यात विद्वान तथा असक्तः चिकिर्षुरः लोक संग्रहं ।। श्लोक २५ 

As the unelightened act from attachment to action, O Bharata, so should the enlightened act without attachment, desirous of the guidance of the multitude.


Difference between men is in the sort of desire harboured at heart. The enlightened one is desireless. Desire for fruits of actions goads the multitude to activity. The enlightened man has no personal motive. Out of compassion for the ignorant he ceaselessly works. Following his example the others do their work. Has the enlightened man anything to guard himself against? The answer comes in the next sloka.
