1 Gita Sloka every day - Chapter 2 - Samkhya Yoga - Sloka 36

Avachya vadan cha bahun vadishyanti tava ahitah I
Nindantah tava samartyam tatah dukhataram nukim II sloka 36
अवाच्य वदन च बहुन वदिष्यन्ति तव आहितः ।
निन्दन्तः तव समर्त्यं ततः दुखतरं नुकिं ।। श्लोक ३६

Your enemies  slandering  your prowess will use words which should never be uttered. What could be more painful than that?
Moreover, your enemies, the sons of Dhritarashtra, will make many more remrks unutterably slanderous and disparaging to heroes, saying, "How can this Partha stand in the presence of us, who are heroes, even for a moment? His prowessis elsewhere than in our presence."an there be anyhting more painful to you than this? You yourself will understand that death is preferable to subjection to disparagement of this kind.
