1 Gita Sloka every day - Chapter 2 - Samkhya Yoga - Sloka 42

Yaam imam pushpitam vacham pravadanti avipakshitah I
Veda vadaratah partha na anyat asti iti vadinah II sloka 42
याम् इमां पुष्पितां वाचं प्रवदन्ति अविपक्षितः ।
वेद वादरताः पार्थ न अनयत् अस्ति इति वादिनः ।। श्लोक ४२ 

The unwise who delight in the flowery words disputing about the vedas say that there is nothing other than this.

Kam atmanah swarg parah janma karma phala pradam I
Kriya vishesh bahulam bhoga aishwarya gatim prati II sloka 43
कं आत्मनः स्वर्ग परः जन्म करमा फल प्रदं ।
क्रिया विशेष बहुलां भोग ऐश्वर्य गतिं प्रति ।। श्लोक ४३ 

Who are desire-ridden, who hold the attainment of heaven as the goal of birth and its activities, whose words are laden with specific rites bringing in pleasure and lordship
