1 Gita Sloka every day - Chapter 11 - Viswarupa Darsana Yoga - Sloka 30
Lelihyase grasa manah samantat lokan samagran vadanaih jvaladbhih I
Tejah bhih apurya jagat samagram bhasah tava ugrah pratapanti vishno II sloka 30
लेलिह्यसे ग्रस मानः समन्तात् लोकान समग्रान् वदनैः ज्वलाद्भिः I
तेजः भिः आपूर्यः जगत् समग्रम् भासः तव उग्रः प्रतपन्ति विष्णो II श्लोक 30
Devouring all the worlds on every side with your flaming mouths, you lick your lips. Your fiery rays, filling the whole world with radiance, are burning, O Vishnu!
Vishnu is he who is all pervading. He pervades the world as a creative and destructive force. At this juncture the Lord appears to Arjuna as a destructive force. In his desolation, he supplicates further.
