Aaharah tu api sarvasya trividhah bhavati priyah I
Yagyah tapah tatha daanam tesham bhedam imam shrunu II sloka 7
आहारः तु अपि सर्वस्य त्रिविधः भवति प्रियः I 
यज्ञः तपः तथा दानम् तेषां भेदम् इमं शृणु II श्लोक 7

The food also that is dear to all is of three kinds. So are the yagnas, austerities and gifts. Hear now of the distinction of these.

The food habits, traditions usages and meritorious acts may vary among nations and countries. There maybe apparent conflicts among them. But karma by itself is neither good nor bad. The motive that impels it and the effect thatit produces on man contribute it to make it good or bad. How the sanctioned karmas that are conducive to spiritual progress get vitiated at the hands of the diabolical is dilated upon here.
