Sarva Bhuteshu yena ekam bhavam avyayam eekshate I
Avibhaktam vibhakteshu tad gyanam viddhi sattvikam II sloka 20
सर्व भूतेषु येन एकं भावं अव्ययम् ईक्षते I 

अविभक्तं विभक्तेषु तद् ज्ञानं विद्धि सात्त्विकं II श्लोक 20

The knowledge by which the one Imperishable Being is seen in all existences, undivided in the divided know that the knowledge is sattvika.

Among human beings there are several differences like caste and asrama.. Some are brahmachari students, some gruhasta or houeholders. Some are fair or dark complexion. There are also differences in height weight etc.

So although the external bodies are all different in various ways, the jivatmas inside are all identical. There is no difference among them. They are all of the same form of knwoledge.

They are indestructible, unlike the  bodies which are persihable. The souls also do not undergo any change. They are not in their essential naturee attached tofruits of their effort, like swarga etc.

a person who has this knowledge about the jivatma at the time of taking up performance of such works, such knowledge is called sattvika.
