1 Gita Sloka Every Day - Chapter 14 - Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga - Sloka 23

An occasion now arises for Arjuna to raise a doubt; and he avails himself of it.

The definition of one whohas trenscended the three gunas 21-27
1 Gita Sloka  Every Day - Chapter 14 - Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga - Sloka 23

Tataka vadam
Udasina vadasinah gunaih yah na vichalyate I
Guna vartanta iti eva yah avatishtati na ingate II sloka 23 
उदासीन वदासीनः गुणैः यः न विचल्यते I 
गुण वर्तन्त इति एव यः अवतिष्टति न इङ्गते II श्लोक 23

He who sitting like one unconcerned, is moved not by the gunas, who, knowing that the gunas operate, is firm and moves not;

A hill does not shake while the trees, plants and creepers on it shake when the wind blows. The gunas move in the brahma jnani; but he remains calm, steady and unconcerned with the happenings in the world.
