The ways of the three gunas are now explained
The Symptoms of the Gunas 11-18
1 Gita Sloka Every Day - Chapter 14 - Gunatraya Vibhaga Yoga - Sloka 12
Lobhah pravrittih arambhah karmanam ashamah spruha I
Rajasi etani jayante vivruddhe bharata rishabha II sloka 12
लोभः प्रवृत्तिः आरम्भः कर्मणां अशमः स्पृहा I
राजसि एतानि जयन्ते विवृद्धे भरत ऋषभ II श्लोक 12
Greed, activity, the undertaking of actions, unrest, longing, these arise O best of Bharatas, when Rajas is predominant.
Attempt at owning another's property is greed. Officiously engaging oneself in matters not one's own is what is meant by activity here.
